GRAPHIC DESIGN & VISUAL COMMS LEAD (Croatia-based)

We are looking for a full-time, Croatia-based, hybrid workplace position of a graphic design and visual communications lead who will work closely with the design and production team as well as the social media department in creating cohesive, coherent brand imagery, as well as having direct impact on design preparation and production refinement in collection development. In short, the role includes the following responsibilities:

  • Consultation, agreement, and conceptualization, including the design of graphics and text for apparel.
  • Graphic and text development in collaboration with the lead designer.
  • Application of graphics on pre-defined sketches provided by designers or constructors.
  • Consultation with designers and production scouts to assess feasibility before implementation.
  • Coordination with the design studio to define deadlines and workflow.
  • Adapting graphics for printing on fabrics and forwarding them to production partners.
  • Defining graphic sizes and placements on pattern pieces to ensure production accuracy.
  • Preparing 1:1 scale graphic files with precise specifications (thread colors, print colors, and other essential details) for various applications, including:
  • Coordination with manufacturers to define and test print colors, thread colors, and embroidery details, including on-site visits.
  • Creating graphics for prints, logos, texts, and other visual elements to enhance collection identity.
  • Developing and overseeing the production of printed materials such as lookbooks, zines, stickers, promo materials, etc.
  • Managing supplier communication and overseeing production in Zagreb, surrounding areas, and international locations.
  • Preparing and designing internal and external communication materials, including production workflows, pitch decks, and collaboration presentations.
  • Web optimization and collaboration with the internal team to enhance visuals.
  • Coordination with photographers for product photography.

Advanced proficiency in tools such as: Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, CORELDraw, Figma, and similar
Basic proficiency in: Google Suite and MS Office
Excellent fluency in written and spoken English
